Saga Furs

Saga Furs is a global supplier of superior quality mink, fox and other furs to the world's leading fashion houses, furriers and retailers. Saga Furs is recognized as the worldwide standard of quality in fur.

In collaboration with Britton&Britton, Planeta Design where given the assignment of providing Saga Furs with a new corporate identity. The challenge was to create a logotyp and design system that helped clarifiy Saga Furs grading system as well as to position the company as a fashion brand and not merely a fur company. A new design strategy and identity was created together with a labeling system for efficient grading to sort skins by: type, sex, size, color, density of gurard hairs, silkiness and resilience.

This was another fun and successful collaboration with Britton&Britton where the knowledge, experience and talent of each one of us was utilized in the best possible way.
